“Is it arrogant to say that Jesus is the only way ?”

Arrogance – defined as : proud in an unpleasant way and behaving as if you are better or more important than other people

2.) What is the stated problem ?
Tolerance –
Tolerance is largely negative word
Engineering – when something fails
Medicine – when you get sick
Tolerant – I’ll put up with you
I think he is wrong in some fundamental way, but too stupid or silly to bother with him….
Saying something to my benefit at your expense
Tolerance
I tolerate him, that food, etc
Vs
I respect him
“Tolerance”
Do you want to be tolerable or respected?
Does tolerant mean acceptance – and therefore mean we can,t disagree?
Then we are not free???
3.) What’s the REAL problem?
TRUTH vs. agreement
All truth is exclusive
2+2=4.
Excludes all other answers
Let’s be honest – all major religions make exclusive claims
TRUTH is not about what is excluded…
It’s about accuracy. It’s about focus, meaning. = Jesus – humble, servant , sacrifice….
John 14
