AND THEY-were-SNARED

Luke 7:22-23

   V22 – doing MESSIAH work

V23 – blessed are those “ not being SKANDALized “, snared, offended … in me.

Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town, among his relatives and in his own home.”

WHY such an attitude?

    – familiar

    – pride ( no better )

    – faulty reasoning

Contrasting what is seen with what is known

THE RESULT – man imposed limits!

He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them. He was amazed at their lack of faith.
