15 The Son is
the image of the invisible God,
the firstborn over all creation.
( John 14 ( “show us the father”) –
8 Philip(A) said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”
9 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.(B) How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? )
16 For in him all things were created:
things in heaven and on earth,
visible and invisible,
whether thrones or powers
or rulers or authorities;
( John 1
2 He was with God in the beginning.(D) 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.)
all things have been created
and for him.
THE BEGINNING of trust
17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
What holds things together?
(They’re held together by the strong interaction, or strong force, that is one of the four fundamental forces in nature. (Electromagnetism, weak interaction and gravity are the other three.) No stable form of matter would exist without the strong interaction holding it together.)
18 And he is the head of the body, the church;
1st & 2nd
he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead,
ITS ABOUT JESUS
so that in everything he might have the supremacy.
THE END RESULT for DIVIDED TIMES
19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell
in him, 20 and
to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.
That is what Paul teaches so clearly in 2 Corinthians 5: “If anyone be in Christ he is a new creation. Old things have passed away, all things have become new.”
1 Cor 6:20
For you have been bought for a price: therefore glorify God in your body.
