7 – the trustworthiness of the resurrection of Jesus

REVIEW :
We’ve examined the reliability and trustworthiness of the Old and New Testament. That examination gives us every reason to be confident that the Bible is both reliable and trustworthy.

With that foundation for our faith set we will look at what the Bible specifically teaches us. First and foremost we will look at what the Bible says about Jesus. rises and falls with Jesus.

More specifically of our faith is the resurrection of Jesus.

A. historical reliability of Jesus’ BURIAL supports empty tomb.

B. Tomb discovered by women – pg 367 (Reasonable Faith – Willian Lane Craig ) Luke 24:1-12 women and their low view in 1st century Judaism. Why would their account of the resurrection be included if the resurrection were a fabricated tale?!
